How it works
BoatPop is simple
- Sign up for weekly deals and then check your inbox, BoatPop’s Facebook and Twitter pages, Three Sheets Northwest or the Seattle Boat Show website for the latest screaming deals for boaters.
- Share the deals with your boating buddies via email or your social network.
- Print out your voucher and present it at the friendly local boating business or redeem it online, depending on the deal.
Tell me more
Each week the crew at BoatPop.com negotiates an incredible deal on a boating-related good or service with local businesses. Then we send the deal out to you and thousands of other local boaters to share and enjoy. You get valuable dollars off boating services and gear, and those local businesses get new customers while making existing ones happy. Everyone wins.
Okay, but I’ve got some questions
Is BoatPop safe?
Yes. Credit card information is transmitted by SSL (that’s fancy talk for encryption) directly to our online payment processor. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers.
What happens if my BoatPop’s promotional value expires?
If your BoatPop’s promotional value expires, you can still redeem it for the amount paid.
Do I have to sign up a group of people I know to get the deal?
Nope. But you’ll probably want to let your boating buddies know so they won’t be annoyed with you for keeping such a great deal to yourself.
So how do I get a BoatPop?
Just click “BUY” before the offer ends. We’ll charge your card and send you a link to print your BoatPop voucher.
Can I get my business on BoatPop?
If you provide goods or services to Northwest boaters, then by all means. You can reach thousands of potential new customers with a weekly deal. Just drop us a line.
What is your refund policy?
Unless otherwise stated in the fine print, or on your voucher, BoatPop deals can be refunded within a week of the purchase date. Beyond seven days, we will only refund a deal if the merchant has closed.
What happens if not enough people buy the BoatPop?
Then, my friend, the deal is a dud and you won’t be charged. However, we rarely set a minimum number of deals. Regardless, if you really want the BoatPop, be sure to talk it up with your boating buddies.
Do I need to use my BoatPop immediately?
Usually not. Just check your BoatPop voucher to see when it expires and make sure to enjoy the full savings before it does.
How do I redeem my BoatPop?
Once you purchase a deal, you’ll receive an email with a link to sign in and print your BoatPop voucher. The voucher will have redemption instructions. You can also access your voucher on your account page.
What happens if I don’t get an email from you?
Usually, that means your spam filter blocked the automatic message. Drats. But no worries, you can simply log in to BoatPop.com and go to your accounts page by clicking your name in the top right corner of the site. Once on your accounts page, you should see your voucher there or under “My Purchases.” Oh, and you should take a second to check your spam filter and add our email to our safe list.
I just did all of that and I still don’t see it. What now?
Drop us a note and we’ll look into it. Usually it means that your credit card was not processed due to an error such as a mismatched CCV code.
Can I buy a BoatPop as a gift for someone else?
Of course! Who wouldn’t want a BoatPop as a gift? Unless the fine print specifically states otherwise, you can gift a BoatPop. Just select the send-as-gift option during checkout.
Can I combine my BoatPop with other offers or specials?
Unless the BoatPop specifically states otherwise, no.
Am I charged as soon as I buy a BoatPop?
In most cases, yes. However, if the deal must reach a minimum number of purchases to activate, then you are only charged if the deal reaches that required tipping point (minimum number sold) and the deal is on. If you purchase a BoatPop after the deal has tipped, your credit card will be charged immediately.
What if the business for my BoatPop closes down?
If anything happens that makes it impossible for you to redeem your BoatPop, we will refund your money.
Where is BoatPop located?
In the far-away city of Seattle, Washington, where the water is beautiful, the summers are long and the salmon tastes better than that stuff on the East Coast.
